Talking to my sister tonight...
She: I have wild turkeys in my back yard.
Me: We have some down the road -- one of them almost flew into me yesterday. They're not very good judges of vehicular speed vs. their ability to take flight.
She: Yeah. [Pause] I hope mine have babies ... so I can steal 'em!
Me: [After convulsing] Aw man, I think I wet myself laughing.
(This particular sister is a DIY person -- raises turkeys every year, occasionally a cow for meat, grows vegetables. She even built her own furnace and annealer when she was an artisan.)
